After two seasons of lack of regular game-time at Orlando Pirates for Austin Muwowo, the Zambian international's representative is making an appeal to the club in trying to assist the player to resurrect his career.
Muwowo, 24, made just two substitute appearances under Josef Zinnbauer in Pirates' 2020/21 DStv Premiership campaign.
In the 2019/20 season, Muwowo also made two substitute appearances and has failed to replicate the performances that made him a household name back home when he won the Zambian Footballer of the Year in 2019.
"We are still pushing, and we will try again to get a loan move for him. We will try and see if Pirates can allow him to get a loan move although I know that the club rates him highly. But, for me, I feel he should get a move so that he could play more and that's why I am pleading with the club to allow him that," the player's representative Nawa Nyambe told the Siya crew.
The representative says he would like to get the player a move to a DStv Premiership club as opposed to him going back home at this stage of his career.
