Seven of the eight teams from SAFA structures that are to play in this season's Nedbank Cup round of 32 matches have been confirmed.
As per the standard procedure for the competition, eight clubs from the SAFA amateur structures and eight others from the National First Division get to be drawn against the 16 PSL teams for the round of 32 matches for the start of the competition.

The PSL has confirmed that Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) from Gauteng, Boyne Tigers from Limpopo, NC Professionals from Northern Cape and Umvoti FC from KwaZulu-Natal will be making their debuts this season in the Nedbank Cup.
The other SAFA teams that have qualified for the competition are Eastern Cape's Tornado FC, Western Cape's The Magic FC and Super Eagles from the Free State.
The only outstanding qualifier to complete this season's list of participating teams will come from Mpumalanga, as confirmed by the league.

The PSL has confirmed that the Nedbank Cup round of 32 draw will be conducted on December 13 at 19h30.
The NFD teams that have qualified for the competition are Cape Umoya, Jomo Cosmos, Maccabi FC, Mbombela United, Richards Bay, Tshakhuma FC, TS Galaxy and Witbank Spurs.
