Speaking at the UEFA Champions League final launch, Henry, who jetted down to South Africa with Heineken, shared his opinion on what influence South Africans had on the English Premier League.
"As you know, the Premier League is a competition that is well followed especially in South Africa but lets be honest, I think it became well followed when the likes of Radebe went there, Mark Fish and some of the South African players going into that league, obviously, made it even more enjoyable to watch. Steven was there and Benni obviously, winning the Champions League with Porto and he was vital for that team winning it. I think that, when you are from a country, people like to see and dream with other stars when they have their own in their country, like Benni, Mark Fish and the likes of Steven Pienaar," Henry said.
