MTN8 cup specialists SuperSport United were victorious once again as they defeated spirited Highlands Park. A seemingly emotional Kaitano Tembo was quick to praise his team for picking up the first piece of silverware this season.
Tembo also made interesting remarks about the team tactics and players which included:
- The reason why Thamsanqa Gabuza made him emotional
- Creating a happy a dressing room for the good form to continue
- Staying compact and picking their moments to capitalize
- And using the cup win as motivation for the rest of the season
