A former Polokwane City striker has revealed his decision to join Highlands Park.
Rodney Ramagalela, who picked up the 2017/18 Golden Boot, has in the past been heavily linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, however, the Lions of the North were first in line to snap up the 30-year-old's signature on a pre-contract in January this year.

Speaking to the media this week after being unveiled by Highlands at their annual awards ceremony, Ramagalela revealed what motivated his decision to join the Lions of the North after his contract with Rise and Shine came to an end on June 30 this year.
"For me, it was more of appreciation and Highlands Park they've shown - you know what Rama, We really value and appreciate you and we want you to come work for us. That's one thing, which motivated me more to say that I would rather go to a team where they believe me in me and I see there is love and appreciation so Highlands Park was the team for me," he explained.
