Speaking to the media at their annual awards ceremony, Head Coach Da Gama, who took over the helm at the club last season, spoke about what his mandate was after the club's struggle in the previous seasons.
"Things were tough, we had a monkey on our back. The team got promoted and then got relegated the same season and when I was brought it, we lost three games in a row and we were told - look please try and help us, there was no immediate goal set," he said.
"I've never been relegated. Whenever I've taken over I have never failed because I have God on my side and I put God in front, I put the players in front..." Da Gama added.
