Speaking to the media after arriving in South Africa, Ellis pointed out that what Banyana need to do in order to improve, is compete and train at the highest level daily.
"It is important to train at the highest level, each and every day and currently with all due respect (to) the Sasol League, players train twice a week, thrice, sometimes at clubs not everyone pitches so, I'm saying - condition wise? We are up there but I am not talking about a gap, I'm talking about players needing to play consistently at the highest level, week in, week out, train every single day at the highest level," Ellis said.
"Then we will see the results coming because we've shown at the World Cup, we've shown when we play teams that we compete. But they obviously play and train every single day at a certain level and that's what I'm talking about. For us to be there with the rest of the world, that is what we need to do," she added.
