Football fans can expect to be treated to more entertaining football in this year's MTN8, following the draw for the semi-finals of the competition that was conducted earlier today (Thursday).

The draw for the semi-finals of the MTN8 for the 2015/16 season was conducted at the Premier Soccer League's headquarters in Johannesburg this afternoon.
The semi-finals will be played over two legs, with the teams playing against each other at home and away.
Kaizer Chiefs, Bidvest Wits, Ajax Cape Town and Bloemfontein Celtic are the four teams that made it through to this stage of the competition, following their impressive wins in the quarter-finals.
In the first semi-final, Bloemfontein Celtic will host Kaizer Chiefs in the Free State. Celtic beat Mamelodi Sundowns in the previous round, while Chiefs emerged victorious against Maritzburg United in their thrilling game on Wednesday evening.
In the second semi-final, Ajax Cape Town will host Bidvest Wits in the Mother City. Ajax knocked Orlando Pirates out of the MTN8 in their previous game of the competition, while Wits advanced to this stage of the competition after beating SuperSport United.

The first leg of the semi-finals will be played on the weekend 15th and 16th of August with the second leg games set to take place on the weekend of 29th and 30th of August.
