Swallows lost for the second time in a three matches after a 2-1 defeat to Cape Town City over the weekend, despite having played the entire second half with a numerical advantage.
The defeat to City saw the Birds drop down to 15th on the log with 13 points and will have a chance to end the year out of the relegation zone, as they are equal on points with 14th-placed TS Galaxy.
Arrows, in contrast, extended their unbeaten streak to seven matches after playing to a 1-1 draw with TS Galaxy over the weekend, although they missed a glorious chance to snatch all the three points after Knox Mutizwa missed a penalty late in the game.
Lehlohonolo Seema's charges remained in tenth place as a result, with 20 points, three points behind eighth-placed SuperSport United.
Both sides will be looking to break their duck in this fixture this season after playing to a goalless stalemate in the first round clash in Durban last month, although Swallows will be without defender Yagan Sasman due to suspension.
