Teams: Swallows FC v Kaizer Chiefs
Date: 24 November 2020
Venue: Dobsonville Stadium
Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to break out of their current slump when they visit take on Swallows FC in the DStv Premiership on Tuesday evening.
Amakhosi have been struggling for form in the early stages of the season under new coach Gavin Hunt and will be hoping to climb the ladder as quickly as possible as the league campaign is starting to take shape.
With only one win under their belt, Hunt's charges came close to snatching a morale-boosting win against Golden Arrows but had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
Chiefs will still be without defender Erick Mathoho who is serving the second of his two-match suspension.
Swallows, in contrast, have made a solid start to the season after winning automatic promotion from the GladAfrica Championship.
Brandon Truter's troops are unbeaten in four matches and after back-to-back victories, they were held to a goalless draw by TS Galaxy on Saturday.
The point against the Rockets proved not to be a bad result, as the Birds moved up to second on the log and they could dislodge leaders Mamelodi Sundowns if they beat Amakhosi.
The sides will be meeting for the first time since Swallows' relegation in 2015, where Chiefs ran out 3-0 winners at Dobsonville Stadium.
