DStv Premiership
Teams: Bloemfontein Celtic v Kaizer Chiefs
Date: 01 May 2021
Venue: Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium
Kaizer Chiefs will be aiming to revive their top eight aspirations in the DStv Premiership when they lock horns with Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday afternoon.
The match will get underway at 15h00.
Chiefs failed to gather momentum in their bid to finish inside the top eight after their win over Mamelodi Sundowns last Sunday was followed by a 1-0 loss to Chippa United on Wednesday.
As a result, Gavin Hunt's charges have dropped to ninth on the log and will get back nto the top eight if they win and TS Galaxy don't match their result against Cape Town City.
Similarly, Celtic's top eight ambitions were dented after losing 1-0 to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Wednesday, ending their six-game unbeaten run in the process.
Siwelele sit in 11th spot on the log with 26 points and could leapfrog Chiefs if they get maximum points this afternoon.
The sides could not be separated in the first round meeting after playing to a 1-1 draw in December last year at FNB Stadium.
