Absa Premiership Starting XI: Golden Arrows v Black Leopards 07 October 2018

Golden Arrows will be looking to turn the corner when they square off with Black Leopards in the Absa Premiership on Sunday afternoon.  

The match will start at 17h30.   Abafana Bes'thende have been lacklustre in the season so far, playing with a lot of youngsters who are still finding their feet in the top flight.   However, Clinton Larsen's charges would have been encouraged by their result against Orlando Pirates in midweek where they held the Soweto giants to goalless draw.   The Durban-based side are winless in their last seven games, which sees them sitting  in 12th on the standings with seven points from eight matches.   On the other hand, Lidoda Duvha snapped out of their five match winless run after sinking neighbors Baroka FC 1-0 in midweek.   However, Joel Masutha's troops mostly rely on their home crowd to win matches and they will be tested playing away from home.   Their last match away from home was a 4-0 drubbing by SuperSport United two weeks ago.   The last time the two sides met was in the league was in the 2012-13 season, where they drew 0-0 in the first round and before Lidoda Duvha won the return match 2-1.
