Rulani: I'm Sweating From The Second Half...

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena says he was 'sweating' from the second half as his side dropped points for the third straight game.

The Brazilians could only muster up a point at the Princes Magogo Stadium after Sipho Mbule cancelled out Ryan Moon's strike on Wednesday night.

"Yeah, not a good start in the first-half, then I got a feeling we were feeling a little bit sorry for ourselves you know," Mokwena told SuperSport after the game.

"It's like 1-0 and 'oh is it really a fixture we have to play?' and we had to a little bit kick a few things out in the half-time talk but I loved the second-half, I loved the personality, the bravery.

"One v one, Rushine [De Reuck] at times, 'AB' [Abdelmounaim Boutouil] had to step into the next line so we can get the midfielders a little bit higher and then we pushed the full-backs, Sifiso [Ngobeni] was a bit braver, much better in the second-half but okay, good, we didn't win and we don't like not winning.

"But we have to win, congratulations to the players, I'm very proud of them for the second-half performance."

Mokwena feels the goal they conceded in the first half could have been avoided.

"Yeah and then we conceded right at that moment, unfortunate but we had to learn, we were one man down and it comes where we needed a six but it also happened because we try to carry the ball out and then it's cut and then it's a counter-attack," he continued.

"Ja, look I'm sweating from the second half, high blood pressure, what are we gonna do? But we have play, we have to win and they know that, we have to push them.

"So Gallant fight from Golden Arrows but very proud of my players in the second half, very proud."
