The move to Mamelodi Sundowns has been confirmed for star midfielder Junior Mendieta from Stellenbosch FC.
Stellenbosch took to their official Twitter account to confirm the player's move to the defending champions.

"Júnior Mendieta has completed a permanent transfer to Mamelodi Sundowns. The club would like to thank him for his immense contributions over the last three seasons and wish him well in the next chapter of his career," confirmed Stellenbosch.

The 30-year-old was involved in 19 goals for Stellies this past season, having scored 10 and provided nine assists.
Mamelodi Sundowns later confirmed Mendieta's signing with their own announcement.
