Feutmba: The Advantage That Sundowns Have...

Mamelodi Sundowns during the Nedbank Cup

Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Roger Feutmba believes that the defending champions will have no hassle in their run-in for the Betway Premiership title.

The retired Cameroonian international has said that despite Pirates having games in hand, Sundowns are in pole position to secure League honours.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Feutmba said that it's hard to overtake Sundowns with such a huge point difference.
"Sundowns are in advantageous position. They know how to defend the league when they are on top. Yes, Pirates have games in hand, but even if they win all their games, Sundowns will still have three points ahead of Pirates which still gives them advantage and that's why I am saying Sundowns can still win the title," Feutmba said, speaking exclusively to Soccer Laduma.
Feutmba further added that Downs' advantage goes down to the depth in their squad, which in most cases assists during periods of tight fixture schedules.
"The other advantage that Sundowns have is the depth and squad quality. When other clubs suffer from fatigue, injuries and suspensions, Sundowns have enough to replace any player in the squad and that's why they have been winning the league title for the past seven seasons and they will win it for the eighth season now. I see them doing that again," he concluded.
Sundowns currently top of the league standings, while Pirates are second with two games in hand.
