Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile has been in incredible scoring form in the Premiership in the last few years, and former Brazilians midfielder Roger Feutmba believes that even in his current form, he has the potential to succeed in Europe, including the Premier League.

Notably, Shalulile has dropped down the pecking order this season, with new signing Iqraam Rayners playing ahead of him.
In an exclusive interview with Soccer Laduma, the Cameroon-born legend, who played in Europe himself, praised the Namibian striker for having the attributes of a top player who can excel anywhere, including England's top flight.
"Even before he joined Sundowns, Shalulile could have gone to Europe and would have made it there. You know Sundowns don't just buy any player. They buy quality. That means he was a top striker even before joining Sundowns. He has shown his potential that he can play anywhere and score goals. He has contributed to the growth of Sundowns and that has seen him winning the top goalscorer as well as Player of the Season awards and that quality is good enough for him to play in Europe, and even in England. Even now, he can still play in the English Premier League," Feutmba told the Siya crew.
Feutmba noted that Shalulile's absence from Europe might have been due to personal choices.

"I think he didn't go about two seasons ago because of choices. Life is about choice. Maybe it was not his choice at that time. Maybe he has his own reasons but it's possible he can still make it in England as a striker. If you see how Munetsi started after leaving Orlando Pirates, going to France and now at Wolves, it proves that he has what it takes and the same could have been to Peter (Shalulile), but as I have said, maybe it was not his choice at that time or no good offers came through. But it's not too late, he can still make it in England, even now, " Feutmba believes.
Feutmba also suggested that perhaps there weren't enticing offers for Shalulile to move to Europe two seasons ago, and went on to discuss the reports of the Sundowns striker being linked with a move to Asia.
"You know he has built a name for himself while playing for Sundowns. You cannot talk about top strikers at Sundowns without mentioning Shalulile. So, maybe there was no good offer to go Europe but now that there is the chance for him to go to Saudi Arabia (as per reports) he can still make more money. Why not? You know, being a top striker is not about being skillful. It's about timing, moves and technique in the box, and scoring goals. Shalulile has all those attributes which makes him a top striker for any club and he can still make it in England. Though, now there is the chance of making more money in the Middle-East for him," Feutmba concluded.
