Kaizer Chiefs could be working around the composition of a new technical team, among the changes set to take place at the club, following suggestions by interim coach Cavin Johnson.
The Glamour Boys are yet to make a decision on who will permanently succeed former coach Molefi Ntseki, with a number of foreign coaches and South Africans such as Pitso Mosimane and Benni McCarthy bandied about in the media.

However, Soccer Laduma previously reported that Johnson is also in the running for the head coaching position and the 65-year-old coach recently confirmed that he is closely involved in the decisions that will be made by Amakhosi management regarding key appointments and transfers in efforts to improve the club.
"I'm part of the discussions on how to make Kaizer Chiefs better and that includes a lot of things," Johnson told reporters.
"I'm part of the discussion that's taking the brand where it was and hopefully we're able to get it to that level.
"I think it would be naive of me to tell you that we need a new kit man or a new water bottle man or something like that because like I just said, it's a conversation that takes place at a much higher level, myself included."
There has been criticism that the Glamour Boys' technical department needs upgrading, to be in line with the modern game, that requires expertise in data and performance analysis.
Local reports suggest that Amakhosi are chasing Moroka Swallows performance analyst Yusha Said, who is said to be on the verge of leaving the Birds nest.
Said came to prominence after he was recruited by Pitso Mosimane from Orlando Pirates in December 2020 at Al Ahly, to become their technical performance analyst. He was in the same technical team with Johnson under Mosimane at the Red Devils but left the Egyptian giants at almost the same time as Johnson in late 2021.
Mosimane was coy when asked whether Johnson has the capabilities to lead Chiefs but suggested he gained valuable experience under him at Al Ahly.
"We can't talk about his role as a senior (team) coach when he is the Head of Youth, because that's probably what he wants," Mosimane said in a virtual press conference with the South African Football Journalists Association (SAFJA).
"I can't answer on his behalf. I think you need to ask him after his work with me and got all there, does he think what he has learned with us playing Bayern, playing Palmeiras and all those teams, is it good enough to make him succeed?" Mosimane asked.
Said is one of three analysts to come highly recommended from Pirates after Mosimane recruited Kyle Solomons, who replaced Said in his current technical team from the Buccaneers and Mamelodi Sundowns also recruited Michael Loftman from the Sea Robbers last season.
Interestingly, the latest member of Mosimane's technical team Maahier Davids also worked at Pirates.
