Kgaogelo Sekgota has revealed how he has gone from being on the periphery at Kaizer Chiefs to being one of the standout performers in the early stages of the club's stuttering season.

The fact that he was the only Chiefs player selected for Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana team to take on Botswana and Sierra Leone later this month speaks volumes about Sekgota's performances.
One problem that he managed to overcome was his endurance, or his lack thereof, which often meant he struggled to complete a 90-minute game.
However, Sekgota has put in the work and it has paid dividends with the attacker relishing life on the left side of attack for coach Arthur Zwane's team.
"Obviously, the encouragement from my teammates and the rest of the technical team helps a lot. I think it is an ingredient that a player needs daily to motivate him to work hard and improve and try his level best to perform well," Sekgota siad via the club's official website about his performances.
"Yes, we did have a good pre-season and we've been working hard as a team. Individually, we were getting programs, which I think really helped me. As a person and as a Kaizer Chiefs player, I want to contribute results, goals, assists and discipline to respect the badge," he continued.

Sekgota will be hoping that Chiefs can turn the corner when they take on a Gavin Hunt-led SuperSport United at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
"I think SuperSport as a whole is a big club. They have experienced players and young players. We also have that, so may the best team win. I think we are all under one badge and we are all working hard, so we should strive for success. We are trying our level best and hopefully on Saturday we will get the best result for the club and for the supporters," he added.
