Sekgota, who joined the Dube Birds on a short-term deal, worked with Amakhosi coach Gavin Hunt at Bidvest Wits last season and the two are set to reunite in the 2021/22 campaign, as the Soweto giants look to redeem themselves after a poor run this season.
The Siya crew has been informed that Sekgota is likely to be on a three-year deal at Chiefs. According to an informant, the deal is as good as done and an announcement can be expected before the start of next season.
The 23-year-old from Seshego in Limpopo, who has played his football in Portugal, has bagged three goals and two assists in 22 appearances for the Dube Birds this season.
