Lamontville Golden Arrows and Kaizer Chiefs look set to go head to head for the signing of a KwaZulu-Natal star playing in the GladAfrica Championship.
The Siya crew has learned that Uthongathi FC star Saziso Magawana hss attracted interest in the DStv Premiership, with Abafana Bes'thende seemingly leading the race as Amakhosi are also believed to be monitoring his situation.
Arrows have enjoyed good relationship with Uthongathi FC in terms of exchanging players in the past with Pule Mmodi the latest player to have moved, and according to Siya sources, Magawana may be next player to join Arrows from the Cane Cutters.
It also believed that Chiefs have also expressed their interest on the midfielder but it is unclear if they have met with the team to discuss the possibility of a move for the youngster.
Despite numerous efforts by the Siya crew, Uthongathi FC official Nkosinathi Chili could not be reached for comment.
