However, despite being the boss' daughter, Motaung has revealed that she earned her stripes before assuming the role of a Marketing Director at the club after cutting her teeth in entrepreneurship for 15 years.
"Entrepreneurship came first, I decided that I want to be an entrepreneur and I decided that, with my partner then, we're going to start a production business," Motaung said on Mzansi Icons.
"And it started there and I've enjoyed the journey, having a business, I had the business for 15 years in the production space, doing music, entertainment, television and it was absolutely amazing."
Motaung revealed that her involvement in the production space prepared her for a role in the sports marketing industry.
"When I built the business, J.A.K.E Productions it allowed me to get involved in the production space and that's really where marketing engine and space was for me," she continued.
"I call it a university of J.A.K.E because many of us who were there it was an environment, first and for all, for black excellence.
"And it was an environment where we shared ideas, so that was really where it all started and it was amazing. We did things that had not been done before and I think it laid a foundation for me doing a lot more," she added.
