It is surprising that Kaizer Chiefs still don't have a women's football team as the club's marketing and commercial director Jessica Motaung provides an update on Amakhosi's hopes to finally establish a professional side for ladies.

Motaung reveals that while they were linked to acquiring JVW FC in the past, they are now looking at purchasing various other club possibilities too.
"We've also been talking with different teams to look at the opportunity of buying into a team, and that has its challenges as well," Motaung told SABC Sport.
"People are buying statuses and things like that, but we want to do things properly – and that's something we're looking at all the options to make sure we can make it happen," Motaung continued.
She then discusses Hollywoodbets Super League team JVW FC which is owned and named after legendary Banyana Banyana player Janine Van Wyk.
The Amakhosi supremo discusses what happened in their pursuit of Van Wyk's club.
"We did talk to them [JVW] about the opportunity, and it would have been lovely to partner with them, but unfortunately we didn't agree terms, and I don't want to air discussions we've had in the media."
Chiefs have some way to go to catch up with rivals Mamelodi Sundowns, who also have a very successful ladies team on the continent that even retained the Club of the Year prize at the Caf Awards.
