Despite leading Kaizer Chiefs to their first trophy in 10 years by winning the Nedbank Cup against Orlando Pirates, speculation has intensified that coach Nasreddine Nabi could depart the club at the end of the season.
However, defender Dillan Solomons has emphasized that the players are focusing solely on their responsibilities at the club, rather than being distracted by the swirling rumours.

Addressing journalists during a media open day at Naturena on Wednesday morning ahead of their season finale against Polokwane City, Solomons revealed they've learned valuable lessons under Nabi's guidance.
"Obviously, people have been talking. But there is nothing we can do about people who are talking. We just have to do what we can do, and that is coming to training, putting in the work, and showing the coach that we are here to work. And that’s all we can do. As a team, we can only control what we can control. If people are going to talk outside, that’s their opinion, and we will see. We don’t know what is going on. All we can do is come here and put in hard work," Solomons said.
The defender described a positive atmosphere within the squad despite the uncertainty, with the team determined to end their campaign on a high note.
"The mood in the camp is good. Obviously, we know we won the Nedbank and the celebrations were cut short because we needed to focus on the rest of the league games. It hasn’t been going well for us in the league but we know where we want to be and what type of team we want to be. So, going into the last game we know we want to get the three points so that we can compete in every competition next season," he added.
Solomons also opened up about his personal challenges this season, battling through injuries but finding his confidence returning in recent matches.
“It has been tough working through injuries and trying to get a run of form but recently it has been going good for me. I have been feeling more confident and obviously there are games where you do struggle when just coming back from injury. But for me, it was just trying to get into a rhythm and just trying to know the best sense of my game after the injuries. So I’m feeling a bit confident now and hopefully in the last game of the season we can show a bit more confidence," Solomons concluded.

Amakhosi's last game of the season against Polokwane City gets underway at 15h00 on Saturday at FNB Stadium.
The match is crucial for Chiefs, who need at least a victory to secure a top-eight finish and qualify for next season's MTN8 competition.
Despite their cup success, failure to finish in the league's top eight would be seen as a significant disappointment for a club of Chiefs' stature, potentially adding further complexity to the ongoing discussions about Nabi's future.
