With Austrian outfit SV Ried believed to be closing in on Kaizer Chiefs’ Yusuf Maart, news reaching the Siya crew is that Amakhosi have named their price for the skipper.
In a telling move, Maart was left out of Chiefs’ pre-season tour to the Netherlands, with sources indicating that this was a strategic decision as the club looks to finalise his switch to Austria.

The Siya crew has been informed that the Glamour Boys have placed a R15 million price tag on the 29-year-old.
"The deal is as good as done. It's believed that Chiefs have asked for R15 million from SV Ried. They are making good business with these players moving away. They did the same with Teenage Hadebe, Siyabonga Ngezana and recently Thatayaone Ditlhokwe. So they have done the same with Maart. It's believed they are money when least expected," a source informed the Siya crew.
As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, the club extended Maart’s deal ahead of its expiry in June, ensuring they wouldn't lose the midfielder for free.

Siya sources have indicated that the potential exit of the Bafana Bafana international may not be the only departure in the coming weeks, with Edson Castillo also expected to leave the club.
"They could still lose Castillo before the season starts, depending on the interest in the player and the player's wish and request to move on to another club. That's the other foreign quota space which could open up at the club," the source revealed.
Maart joined Chiefs from Sekhukhune United three seasons ago and was handed the captain’s armband during the last campaign, underlining his value to the Soweto giants.
Soccer Laduma reached out to Chiefs for comment but attempts were unsuccessful.
