Kaizer Chiefs were on the end of a disappointing loss to rivals Orlando Pirates in the Soweto Derby on Saturday and an incident between Cavin Johnson and Brandon Petersen had tongues wagging.
The coach was seen in what looked like a disagreement with goalkeeper Petersen, on the sidelines of the match, and according to Johnson, the incident was regarded as a non-event.
Th former SuperSport United and AmaZulu coach referenced an incident where Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne hurled at Pep Guardiola and told him to 'shut up'.
Speaking to journalists in the post-match press conference, the coach was nonchalant about the incident caught on camera.
"Oh, it was just a normal chat with the coach, 'Coach, we lost the game, why do we have to fight? Yes, it's normal," Johnson told members of the media after the match
"Did you see (when) Pep Guardiola told Kevin De Bruyne to shut up. I want my players to react when we lose, I want them to react and if they react to me, then I take all that on my shoulder because tomorrow I will fix up whatever the reaction is and that is football," he added.

Chiefs lost back-to-back derbies in a league season for the first time since the 2008/09 season and overall have suffered defeat in the past three derbies in all competitions.
With the stadium filled to capacity, it's very difficult to hear each other and it's only the players on the field that can thus actually carry out the job on the field.
Regarding the calibre of players, Johnson notes he wants individuals that question him than those that wait on instructions to get stuck in the swing of things.
"I don't want them to be mouses, they have to be people who want to question and I question them because in front of a hundred thousand people, no one can hear each other it's only those 11 players on the pitch that have to work," he said.
Chiefs won't be in action for the next two weeks before visiting Cape Town City in the final week of this month.
