Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson lamented the big chances his side failed to take against Royal AM on Sunday.
The Soweto giants resumed their DStv Premiership campaign with a goalless draw against the KwaZulu-Natal outfit at Harry Gwala Stadium.
Ashley du Preez was the main culprit, having passed up some great opportunities in the box.

"I don't know what I need to say, yes we missed very good chances, we missed four one-on-ones, Ashley had four times one-on-ones, he should have scored the goals but we didn't get it," Johnson told SuperSport after the game.
"But did we play well today? No, I don't think so. I'm not happy with my performance as our team. I think our team is a lot better than what we showed today.
"Yes, the (Royal AM) goalkeeper (Hugo Nyame) gets Man of the Match, it tells you a lot as a tactician.
"As a guy who sits on the bench and watching this team play and watching what this team went through at training sessions and how they can play and how they can be more confident on the ball, ja we didn't see enough of that. We missed the chances but we should have really won the game," he said.
Johnson was also perplexed as to why his side were unbale to perform in the good conditions at Harry Gwala Stadium.
"Focal point now is we need to be a bit better on the ball, I think the conditions were perfect to play football but it looked like my players were just not good enough to play in perfect conditions," he continued.
"I think we need 35 degree, outside the sun must shine then we could do better but in saying that, ja we gotta go back to the drawing board, make sure we build better, for both sides, make sure our players are aware of where they are on the pitch in order to score the goals but most importantly get better opportunities to score the goals," he added.
