Kaizer Chiefs striker Ranga Chivaviro is reportedly wanted by Young Africans on loan, who were in the race for his signature before he was signed by Amakhosi. Can the deal happen?
Chivaviro was in demand last season after scoring 17 goals in all competitions for Marumo Gallants, with 10 in the PSL and seven in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Young Africans, who knocked out Gallants in the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, were also in the running for Chivaviro's signature after the end of last season and the Tanzanian giants have reportedly renewed their interest, with a view of proposing a loan deal, according to reports emanating from Tanzania.
According to the publication FarPost, Chivaviro's agent Herve Tra Bi did not deny those reports but stated that the 31-year-old striker is staying put at Chiefs for now and his two-year deal with Amakhosi has to be respected.
However, what are the factors that could make the deal happen?
1. Yanga President Hersi Said's connection to Chiefs bosses
Said was recently appointed President of the newly-formed African Club Association (ACA) and alongside him Amakhosi Marketing and Commercial Director Jessica Motaung was voted as one of the vice-presidents.
2. CAF Champions League exposure
Chivaviro certainly made big clubs notice his talent in Gallants' run towards the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup last season as their leading striker and he could have an opportunity to attract bigger clubs, as Yanga are involved in the CAF Champions League group stages along with teams like Al Ahly.
3. Less pressure at Yanga compared to Chiefs
Yanga are winning and challenging for major honours in Tanzania and the pressure of winning is the one players enjoy.
However, with Amakhosi having not won a trophy in nine years, it's a different type of pressure, which weighs heavy on players.
4. Bad start at Chiefs
Chivaviro has scored only one goal in 10 appearances for Amakhosi and sometimes strikers get back on form after going to another team on loan.
Conclusion
All these factors will depend on whether Chiefs are open to letting go of Chivaviro on loan and whether the player is keen himself.
