Kaizer Chiefs advanced to the first-round of the CAF Champions League with a 1-0 aggregate win over PWD Bamenda.
Chiefs made four changes from the 1-0 win in the first-leg, with Lebogang Manyama, Kgotso Moleko, Nkosingiphile Ngcoo and Philani Zulu all recalled.
Amakhosi had a lot of space to exploit, with PWD playing a high line and Zulu came close to getting the opener in the tenth minute with a cross-cum-shot that evaded goalkeeper Haschou Kerrido but missed the far post slightly wide.
Manyama had a chance to break the deadlock for Gavin Hunt's charges ten minutes later with a free-kick just outside the box but his curling shot was saved by Kerrido towards the far post.
Anthony Akumu had a good chance to give the hosts the lead on the half-hour mark after a cross by Khama Billiat towards the far post but his header missed wide at the far post.
Bamenda offered better resistance in the closing phase of the first stanza, not giving Chiefs the freedom they had in their passing but they could not combine themselves.
Chiefs were threatening after the break and had a good chance ten minutes inside the second stanza after Kerrido dropped a shot from Manyama into the path of Bernard Parker, who pounced on the ball but the referee spotted an infringement on the Cameroonian goalkeeper.
Leonardo Castro had a chance to break the deadlock and kill the game for Amakhosi on aggregate after finding space inside the box but he dragged his left-footed shot narrowly wide.
The hosts were absorbing the pressure in the closing minutes and Khune was brought into action in the last four minutes, after making a low save in the centre of the box to ensure Chiefs walk away with a clean sheet as they advance in the tournament.
As a result, Gavin Hunt's men will come up against Angolan giants Primeiro de Agosto in the first round.
