Speaking to the media ahead of their DStv Premiership clash with Moroka Swallows on Saturday, Bvuma expressed his respect for Khune's experience and guidance.

"Itu (Khune) is the veteran of this club. He will always be important to this team. Missing him? Of course I missed him a lot. I learn a lot from him and his presence is always important at the team. But he is always there for me and he has been talking to me and advising me on my game. I respect him and I am honoured to have played with him," Bvuma said.
Despite missing Khune's on-field presence, Bvuma embraces the opportunity to showcase his own abilities.
"Yes, it's good to be playing again. You know just like in life in football you have to be patient and wait for your time to come. I think now is the right time for me and I just have to give it my best for team."
Bvuma deflected individual praise for clean sheets, attributing success to a collective effort. The keeper earned clean sheets late last year when his teammates struggled to achieve it earlier. Now, after Afcon, he's already produced two clean sheets even though the team didn't win those games because the forwards failed to score.
"As for the clean sheets it's not just about me but the whole team. You can see defenders marking and blocking shots during games for us as a team to keep clean sheets and we will continue to work as a team to improve our results," Bvuma concluded.Bvuma's focus on learning, seizing opportunities, and teamwork reflects the team's mentality as they strive to overcome recent challenges and secure victory against Swallows. A good result is very much needed to give the club and their fans a lift after a painful week when they exited the Nedbank Cup at the hands of lower division club, Milford FC.
