The story
Amajita star centre-back Tylon Smith appears to be settling into life in West London after recently linking up with a former Bournemouth and Newcastle striker.
Smith joined English Championship side Queens Park Rangers in late July, following a breakout campaign at the CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
His exceptional performances helped South Africa secure their first-ever title in the tournament, earning him both Player of the Tournament and Team of the Tournament honours.
Despite initially admitting on the Soccer Beat podcast that he struggled to adjust to life off the pitch — citing fears of getting lost in the vast city — Smith seems to be making progress.
On Wednesday, he took to Instagram to share a photo with West Ham United striker Callum Wilson, suggesting he's starting to explore his new environment and connect with fellow professionals.
The post marks a positive step forward for the promising youngster as he gradually becomes more comfortable in his new surroundings.
