The story
Boasting over 6 million followers and a host of hilarious sounds, West United’s TikTok page is simply golden.
Many South Africans believe that the club’s TikTok social media manager is originally from Mzansi because their content consistently features authentically South African phrases and music.
From a popular SeSotho sound, "Yoh, oja monate mos" (you're eating nice) used on a Dimitri Payet freekick compilation, to DJ Kent's "Spin My World Around" being used on a Mohammed Kudus highlights reel, the Hammers have served their SA fans with some gems on the video sharing app.
There's plenty of Amapiano-infused clips on West Ham's page, with a reworked version of Lucas Paqueta dancing in the changeroom after their Europa Conference League triumph in 2023, with smash hit "Kunkra" playing in the background, receiving over 200k likes.
