The story
Ronwen Williams rubbed shoulders with football's elite at the 2024 Ballon d'Or awards in Paris, where he finished ninth in the Yashin Trophy standings, losing out to Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez for the prize.
Williams looked the part on the red carpet and was accompanied by Sundowns chairman, Thlopie Motsepe on the night. One of the most awe-striking moments of the evening came at the start of the ceremony.
The Sundowns shot-stopper walked out alongside Spain and FC Barcelona Femeni's Salma Paralluelo as the nominees were welcomed onto the stage by host Didier Drogba to get a group picture and a round of applause from the esteemed guests at the Theatre du Chatelet.

On the red carpet, Williams rocked what appeared to be a custom black tux from a Johannesburg-based fashion house, Bogart Man.
The look stood out for it's striking floral illustration, displayed in white, starting from the shoulder onto the sleeve of Ronwen's blazer.
