The story

Espérance Sportive de Tunis winger Elias Mokwana and Mamelodi Sundowns defender Malibongwe Khoza are the latest ballers to sign with PUMA.

PUMA already has a strong standing in local football as Masandawana's technical sponsors and endorses an array of elite PSL players such as Themba Zwane, Teboho Mokoena, Thapelo Morena, Khanyisa Mayo, Kabelo Dlamini, Ashley Du Preez, and more recently, Patrick Maswanganyi and Rushwin Dortley, among others.

The news of Khoza and Mokwana joining the PUMA family has been well-embraced by Cream Sports Management (CSM). The agency represents both players and is delighted to see them joining the global sportswear company's growing list of stars.

In an exclusive chat with Soccer Laduma, CSM's Marketing and Public Relations Officer, Karabo Molekoa mentioned how it's a great gesture from PUMA to identify the two players as footballers that will positively represent the brand.

"Both Ellias and Malibongwe have consistently shown exceptional talent, professionalism, and dedication to the game, and this collaboration with Puma is a reflection of their hard work and commitment," noted Molekoa, adding:

"As an agency, we are incredibly proud to represent these two outstanding athletes and excited for the opportunities that this partnership will bring to them both on and off the pitch.

"We are confident that their association with PUMA will further elevate their careers, and we look forward to supporting them as they continue to achieve greatness in the world of football," shared Molekoa.

The two players will meet in the CAF Champions league when Downs take on Espérance in the quarter-finals, with Betway Premiership defending champions hosting the first leg on 1 April.

Both Mokwana and Khoza's clubs will take part in this year's FIFA Club World Cup in the US, presenting the stars a major platform to showcase their talents, potentially get scouted and representing the PUMA brand.

"You see it's a good return not just for PUMA but for South African football as well. They will be playing against each other in the CAF Champions League but again both players will be competing in the FIFA Club World Cup in America in June with their respective clubs.

"That's great for PUMA and for our football as well. These two players are part of the future of South African football," added Molekoa.

Mokwana and Khoza have already been rocking PUMA boots throughout the season for their clubs. Take a look:
