The story
Kaizer Chiefs announced their first three signings for the 2025/26 season on Tuesday, including the acquisition of Guinea-Bissau-born striker Flavio Silva.
Silva, who joins Amakhosi from Persebaya Surabaya in Indonesia, is not only a reliable goal-getter (32 goals in 62 games over the last two seasons), but the 28-year-old also comes across as a dependable father.
In June, Silva recently travelled to his homeland in Guinea-Bissau alongside his fiancée Zanira Gomes and their two children.
Silva can be seen pictured with Zanira and their kids in a fair number of his IG posts, with his account being strictly dedicated to his footballing exploits and memorable family moments.
One of those wholesome family moments shared on Silva's IG includes his engagement party with Zanira and their close friends and family, with another being the birth of his daughter in April last year.
