Kwaito's Call To Fans For Carling All Star Match

Kwaito's Call To Fans For Carling All Star Match

In addition to the spectacular football on display at the Carling All-Star match, fans can also expect world-class entertainment. In light of this, Soccer Laduma spoke to Skeem Saam actor Clement Maosa "Kwaito", who has called on supporters to flock to the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The Carling Black Label Cup is set to bring Polokwane to a standstill with a not-to-be missed musical festival on game day, featuring, Makhadzi, Limpopo's Song of the Year winner King Monada, and legendary kwaito artist Thebe.

Gates open at 12:00 and tickets are still available for R40 at TicketPro outlets nationwide.

On the match being hosted at the Peter Mokaba Stadium

"Oh man, it's gonna be beautiful. It's in my hometown Limpopo, so that's the first thing. Second thing is we've got some of the most favorite artist like King Monada and Makhadzi. You know, they've got bangers for days. So I think people should look forward to that and the whole stadium, obviously they'll be singing along to their songs and then obviously I will be there with some dance routines, you know, some of the Tik toks most favorite dance challenges will be performing them and just hyping the whole crowd. So it's gonna be like a beautiful day of celebrations, but the other thing is people are still home for the festive. So it's like the last leg of festivities. So people must just look for entertainment galore, but also if you definitely love Limpopo and Limpopo artists, that's exactly what you're gonna get."

Passion from local fans

"The reason they love our artists is because they're very authentic and. They sing in our languages, but also if you can check the genre that Monada and Makhadzi are doing is very unique. When everyone is doing Amapiano, not that there's anything wrong with that, but that's a fresh kind of sound that people are really enjoying, you know."

On the opportunity for fans to win up to R900 000

"You know, it's a lot and like I call them, I normally don't even call them fans - I call them champions, so there's a lot that they they can do. There's a lot to walk away with. If they are lovers of football. I mean obviously they got the opportunity to select their starting line-up. Secondly, they also decided on the coach for the All Star coach, that's something that's on unheard of . And also imagine now you know, because we know that there's a lot of people who have their favorite teams. But now imagine a squad of your favorite team players for all the 15 PSL teams.  So for me, I think that's something thrilling because you know that you might be a Chiefs, Pirates or Sundowns fan,  but there's this footballer from AmaZulu for an example that you love so much. Now seeing them playing with one of your team members, I think it's something very unique and very interesting, but also the money as well. If they predict the right score, especially within the first few minutes. They stand a chance to win up to R900K. So for me, that's something super - it's like you instantly become, almost a millionaire. So the sooner the team scores,  the higher the prize. You know, so they must just continue predicting the score and I'm wishing them all the best."
