The Premier Soccer League has confirmed dates, times and venues for the last 16 fixtures of the Carling Knockout, with TS Galaxy and Mamelodi Sundowns set to get things underway.

Sundowns will visit Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday, before the Soweto giants welcome struggling Cape Town Spurs at Orlando Stadium next Friday.

With three consecutive knockout titles in the bag, Pirates go into the competition as one of the favourites and will fancy their chances against a Spurs side yet to find their feet in the top flight.

Pirates' rivals Kaizer Chiefs, who are still looking for a first major title since 2015, start their campaign at FNB Stadium on Saturday, October 21, against AmaZulu. The Soweto giants are determined to end their trophy drought and will be looking to set the tone early in the competition to give themselves a chance at going all the way.
