Thabo Matlaba Could Board Flight For Gabon Trip

Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana left back, Thabo Matlaba, is expected to travel to Gabon with the team for their CAF Confederation Cup first leg tie against CF Mounana.   Pirates' Travel Plans For Gabon   'Festival' has been out of action for almost three weeks now due to chest pains, following his collision with an opposition player during the national team's friendly international against Nigeria.   A Soccer Laduma source at the club told the Siya crew that Matlaba will be expected to board the flight when the Buccaneers depart for Libreville.     The source said since Matlaba started training he has been improving and may be need in Gabon.   "He has been doing light training and looks very good that's why the team has decided that he may travel with them to Gabon tomorrow. They need every player that they have at this time, so it's yet to be seen if he travels and plays as well," the source concluded.   Eric Tinkler and his charges will depart the country at 14h55 on Friday afternoon and are expected to arrive in Gabon at 18h55.
