SuperSport United Didn't Manage To Beat TP Mazembe

SuperSport United Didn't Manage To Beat TP Mazembe

SuperSport United were left angry and heartbroken on Saturday night as they were pipped to the CAF Confederation Cup title.

Take a look at last night's drama in the gallery above

Eric Tinkler's side were unable to make their away goal in Lubumbashi count as they were held to a 0-0 draw by TP Mazembe at Lucas Moripe Stadium, but while there were no goals there was plenty of drama on show for those watching.

Mazembe's Kabaso Chongo and SuperSport's Thuso Phala were both shown red cards in the game, with Chongo possibly set to face the wrath of CAF for the disrespect that he showed following his dismissal.

The defender showed the middle finger to Tinkler and his SuperSport bench as he was leaving the bench, incensing the opposing team.

After the game, as Mazembe were crowned champions for the second year in a row, there was a pitch invasion that took place as supporters of both teams stormed the pitch with security unable to control them.

Do you think Mazembe were deserved winners?
