SuperSport United Are Off To Angola In The CAF Confederations Cup

Chiefs Trio Back In Full Training
Matsatsantsa received a bye for the first round of the tournament following their performance last year as they reached the final of the competition, therefore skipped the preliminary round of qualifying.
Now though, with Eric Tinkler looking to go one better in 2018, the club has discovered who they will be facing as they target a spot in the play-off round.
Tinkler and his troops will be heading to the Angolan capital next month to take on 15-time Girabola champions, Petro de Luanda, after they saw off Malawi's Master Security in the preliminaries.

Os Tricolores got the job done at home as they put five past their opponents – largely thanks to their Brazilian attacker, Tony – before drawing 0-0 in Blantyre on Tuesday.
SuperSport and Petro de Luanda are set to face off in Angola on either the 6th or 7th of March, and then in South Africa on the weekend of the March 16th.
It won't be the first time that the two teams have met, with SuperSport winning 2-0 on aggregate in the 2013 CCC thanks to goals from Sibusiso Zuma.
SuperSport United will face a tough trip to Angola next month as they look to try and reach the CAF Confederation Cup group stages for a second consecutive year.
