Pirates secured a draw in Uganda ti advance to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday.
Erick Tinkler's side needed to either win or draw to advance and the draw helped them win 4-3 on aggregate after winning the first leg 2-1 at Orlando Stadium three weeks ago.
And Gcaba told the Siya crew that they plan on fighting in order to reach the final of the competition.
"We wanted to keep a clean sheet. We wanted to win and we almost won but even the draw worked for us," Gcaba said.
"We had a plan in place and our plan worked. Now we just have to focus on the next round of the competition and we will keep on fighting to reach the finals."
