The Comorian champions go into this weekend's clash at Stade de Moroni as they experience the CCL for the first time following their capture of the Comorian Premier League title in 2015.
Volcan Club have participated in CAF competition before, despite this being their first venture into the top-flight competition, making it into last year's CAF Confederation Cup where they were pitted against Petro de Luanda of Angola.
The Comorians were resoundingly beaten 5-0 on aggregate by the Angolans last year in the CCC, and the Amakhosi will be eager to try and be just as convincing over two legs this month.
However, Volcan will go into the game on a high after beating Elan Club, the second most successful team in the country, 3-1 over the weekend. Attoumani Alhadhur, whose alias is the late Lucky Dube, scored a brace.
Chiefs will leave for Comoros later this week, on Friday, before facing Volcan at 14h00 (SA time) on Sunday afternoon.
