Ratings:
Denis Onyango: 6/10
Was solid whenever he was called upon, but could do nothing for Wydad's opening goal. He did also save a penalty in the shoot-out.
Thapelo Morena: 6/10
Put in a solid showing defensively, and did well to add numbers going forward in the second half.
Motjeka Madisha: 6.5/10
The communication was lacking when Saidi scored Wydad's goal in the first half, but he was impressive for the rest of the match.
Wayne Arendse: 6.5/10
There was a mix-up for Wydad's opening goal, but much like Madisha, Arendse was very solid before being replaced in the 88th minute.
Tebogo Langerman: 6.5/10
Langerman was quiet going forward but he put in a good shift defensively, as he also pulled off a goal-saving block in the first half.
Hlompho Kekana: 6/10
Did well to protect the back four, but he squandered a glorious chance in the second half.
Tiyani Mabunda: 6/10
Mabunda put in a solid showing in the middle of the park and did not allow Sundowns to get overrun.
Themba Zwane: 6/10
Worked hard off the ball for most of the match, but he was a bit quiet going forward.
Oupa Manyisa: 6/10
Manyisa did carve out Sundowns' best chance of the game in the second half, but was largely quiet throughout.
Khama Billiat: 6/10
The Zimbabwean spent most of the chasing the ball due to Wydad's dominance, which led to a frustrating night.
Percy Tau: 6.5/10
Still looked like Sundowns' liveliest player whenever he did get on the ball, but he was well-marshalled by the Wydad defence.
Subsitutes:
Yannick Zakri: 5/10
Replaced Zwane midway through the second half, but did not have the same impact as he did in the first leg.
