Denis Onyango: 7/10 Onyango was very solid in goals and made some crucial saves to help Sundowns earn their first win in Group C. Anele Ngcongca: 6.5/10 Ngcongca kept the discipline and shape well at the back. His experience went a long way in shoring up the Masandawana defence. Wayne Arendse: 6.5/10 Arendse organised the side well in heart of defence and combined to good effect with Nascimento, although the duo did have lapse in concentration for the visitors' goal. Ricardo Nascimento: 6.5/10 Nascimento's ball winning ability was good on the night and he was key in helping Sundowns build from the back. Tebogo Langerman: 7/10 Langerman was quiet in the early stages of the half but he did find opportunities in the latter stages, providing an extra body in the attack. He was also solid defensively. Hlompho Kekana: 6.5/10 Kekana kept things simple in the middle of the park with some simple passing as Sundowns dominated, while he also managed to break down a couple Togo-Port attacks. Oupa Manyisa: 6.5/10 Manyisa's ball retention and distribution was impressive. He played with a lot freedom and combined well with the front three at times.
