Wayne Sandilands: 6/10

The Sundowns shot-stopper enjoyed a quiet evening between the sticks. He was called upon on a couple occasion but was helpless for the KCCA goal.

Anele Ngcongca: 6/10

Ngcogca had a quiet game at right back. He was solid defensively, but didn't venture too much forward.

Ricardo Nascimento: 7/10

The Brazilian defender was solid in the heart of the defence, while he also managed to get on the score-sheet with a composed spot-kick.

Bangaly Soumahoro: 7/10

Put in a solid showing for most of the encounter, but was nowhere to be seen when KCCA pulled a goal back. He also scored what proved to be a winning goal.

Tebogo Langerman: 7/10

Langerman was unfortunate to slip in the build-up to KCCA's goal. Other than that, the full-back picked up the assist for the first goal and was real threat going forward.

Hlompho Kekana: 6/10

The Sundowns skipper did well to protect his back four when KCCA were on the attack, while he worked tirelessly in the middle of the park.

Tiyani Mabunda: 6/10

Mabunda did his usual job of cleaning up in the middle of the park. He also moved the ball along quite nicely in the second stanza.

Themba Zwane: 6/10

Zwane had a quiet game down the flank, but did well to track back when KCCA enjoyed spells of possession.

Thapelo Morena: 6.5/10

Moved up to the right wing, Morena was a threat in the early stages, as he won a penalty for Sundowns. He also did well when asked to track back.

Percy Tau: 6/10

Looked lively whenever he was on the ball in the early stages, but faded as the game went on. He is also squandered a golden chance to score late in the second half.

Leonardo Castro: 6.5/10

The Colombian retained his spot in the line up. He worked hard whenever Sundowns were without the ball and he was unlucky to have a goal disallowed in the opening half.

Substitutes:

Teko Modise: 5/10

Brought on after 20 minutes, but hardly had any major impact on the encounter.

Yannick Zakri: NA
