Pitso Mosimane Shared His Comments After Mamelodi Sundowns' Draw Last Night

Pitso Mosimane admitted that his Mamelodi Sundowns side only started performing in the second half of their CAF Champions League encounter last night.

The Brazilians left Conakry, Guinea with just one point, after playing to a 2-2 draw against Horoya AC in the group stages of the CAF Champions League competition.

Speaking to the media, Mosimane admitted that Horoya got the better of his side in the first half in the encounter, admitting that he is not happy with the draw, as Sundowns loss their 2-1 lead in the 83rd minute.

"What I think, I said, is exactly what came out, of we need to come and respect the team, we need to be very careful, exactly the same players I mentioned, Mandela… and the two midfielders and they caused a little bit of problem in the first half. It was a game of two halves; we woke up very late, were asleep and couldn't play our normal football in the first half," he said.

"The first half belonged to Horoya in my opinion, the second half we showed the experience we have, we could control the midfield and play and that's how we got the two goals. We have quick strikers; there is not much we can say. I am a little bit unhappy because it was 2-1 and my centre back left the most important player that we all know on set-pieces, corner kicks, he is the only player who scores with the head, we all know. He scored, my player left him. It's football," he added.
