Despite their loss in their CAF Champions League match, in Tunisia earlier this week, Orlando Pirates have been lauded for their effort.
The Buccaneers went 2-0 down to Esperance de Tunis in their Champions League Group B match in Tunisia on Tuesday afternoon.

Esperance, who are the reigning champions of Africa, have showered Milutin Sredojevic's side with praise, for their commitment and professionalism.
Speaking to CAF's official website, Esperance head coach Moine Chaabani described Bucs as their main opponents in the group.
"These three points are very important to us. I believe this is the most significant victory in the Group stage for us. We tied in our away game against our main opponents, Orlando Pirates and today we triumphed. Orlando Pirates are an excellent team. They have excellent players who are very technically gifted. We were well prepared for the game despite having wasted many opportunities, we gave our best and we're thankful for the very important three points," the coach told CAF's official website.
With two rounds of fixtures remaining in this stage of the competition, Bucs have moved from first to third place on the standings, after Guinean outfit Horoya AC won their clash against Zimbabwe's FC Platinum on Tuesday.
The remaining fixtures for Bucs, as they will be attempting to qualify for the quarter-finals, will be against FC Platinum (H) and Horoya (A) on March 08 and March 16 respectively.

Meanwhile, the Siya crew has been informed that Bucs landed in Mzansi this morning (Thursday) from Tunisia.
The team are set to use the remainder of the week and the start of the new one to prepare for their next assignment – an eagerly-awaited Absa Premiership match against perennial nemesis SuperSport United, which is scheduled for February 20 at the Mbombela Stadium.
