Mamelodi Sundowns will be without the services of one of their key defenders when they host Kampala Capital City FC in their first encounter of this season's CAF Champions League tonight.
Sundowns will lock horns with their Ugandan rivals at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. However, going in to the encounter, head coach Pitso Mosimane will be without one of his most vital defenders, Wayne Arendse, due to suspension.

According to CAF rules, if a player picks up two yellow cards, he faces a one-match suspension.
"A player who receives two cautions shall be automatically suspended from playing the subsequent match in the CAF inter-clubs competitions," the CAF Champions League regulations read.
Arendse was suspended for the second leg of the CAF Champions League final against Zamalek last year in Egypt after accumulating two yellow cards.
However, it was not the first time the player was cautioned – Arendse has been suspended once before in the same competition, and according to the CAF rules, along with being suspended for the second leg of the final last year, the defender has to sit out tonight's CAF clash as well.
"If the same player accumulates, later on in the same competition, two more cautions in two different matches until the end of the group matches, then the second sanction will be double and the player will be suspended for two subsequent matches," the CAF regulations read.
Mosimane could look to centre back Soumahoro Bangaly to step in for the suspended Arendse tonight.
