Ratings:

Denis Onyango: 6/10
It proved to be a quiet evening evening for the Ugandan shot-stopper, who hardly a big save to make.   Thapelo Morena: 6.5/10   Morena put in a solid shift defensively and did well to add numbers going forward,   Motjeka Madisha: 6.5/10   Madisha was composed whenever he was in possession of the ball and he did well to frustrate the Vita attackers.   Thabo Nthethe: 6.5/10   Much like Madisha, Nthethe was solid throughout the clash and looked assured on the ball.   Lucky Mohomi: 7/10   Without Kekana and Mabunda, Mohomi put in an impressive shift in front of the Sundowns back four and looked comfortable on the ball.   Sibusiso Vilakazi: 7/10   Played in a deeper role, but threatened throughout the match as he bagged Sundowns' third goal. He also worked hard defensively.   Themba Zwane: 6.5/10   Moved to a central role and he is work rate was very impressive, although he squandered a good chance to score in the second half.   Anthony Laffor: 7/10   Handed a start by Pitso Mosimane, and repaid the faith by opening the scoring in the first half with a fine header. He also tracked back defensively on a few occasions.   Percy Tau: 6.5/10   Didn't have the best of the games, but he did cause the Vita defence a few problems with his runs down the middle.   Yannick Zakri: 7/10   Zakri led the line impressively and was a real threat from the onset. He also scored the winning goal in the second half.
  Substitutions:
  Teko Modise: 6/10
Replaced Zakri midway through the second half and did well to help Sundowns see out the rest of the stanza.   Leonardo Castro: NA   Only played the 15 minutes but did not too much to receive a rating.   Siyanda Zwane: NA   Not on the field long enough to receive a rating.
