Head coach Pitso Mosimane's side will be hoping for another piece of continental silverware, but exactly how much prize money is up for grabs?
The winner of the CAF Super Cup final will receive US$100,000 (±R1.3 million), while the runners up of the competition will walk away with US$75,000 (±R994 thousand).
Domestically, Sundowns are still in contention to win the Nedbank Cup, which is worth more than the CAF Super Cup in terms of prize money.
The winners of the Nedbank Cup will receive R6 million, while the runners-up walk away with a cool R2.5 million.
Taking both the CAF Super Cup and the Nedbank Cup prize money into account, and not forgetting the R10 million up for grabs if they win the league, Masandawana could walk away with several digits in their bank account in the first six months of the year.
