Sundowns are currently in Congo where they are gearing up for their second group stage encounter of their CAF Champions League campaign.
The last time the two sides met, AS Vita eliminated Sundowns from the Champions League last year and it was also through the Congolese-side that Head Coach Pitso Mosimane's team were reinstated into the competition.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma, former Sundowns midfielder, Moosa, thinks that Congo is not the easiest place for Sundowns to travel, but thinks that the Brazilians' have been doing well away from home and should secure a point in Wednesday's encounter.
"Going into the Vita game, it's vital for both teams now because although it is still early days, Vita are playing at home, they will probably feel like they have a score to settle with Sundowns after what happened last year when Sundowns went on to win the cup," Moosa told the Siya crew.
"They (Sundowns) have done well away from home in most of their games that they have played, they've got that experience, but you know, Congo is not the easiest place to go to, compared to other countries."
"Sundowns will do well to at least get a point but a win will be a bonus. The last time Sundowns played there, they were very cautious, I remembered when they lost 1-0 they were playing more on the counter, so I think they will probably go to the game with a similar strategy but if their confidence grows they might change it and be more attacking, depending on how the opposition are," he added.
